About Us

My name is Simon and I have been teaching IELTS and Academic English both at home, in the UK, and abroad for almost 14 years now. 

I have worked with hundreds of students during that time and am also knowledgeable and experienced in teaching English for academic purposes at universities in the UK, so I have an excellent understanding of academic English and its features, which helps me to offer reliable guidance and models of the academic language used within the IELTS test and advice for life beyond the IELTS test.

I started the company with a mission to deliver an online preparation course that was affordable, accessible, engaging and could offer feedback to students on their work which can drive students’ learning forward. I have developed a course for you which involves video-based tutorials, practice lessons, as well practice activities to consolidate what you learn in each lesson.

Most importantly, I have provided my students with the opportunity to get personalised feedback from a tutor with comments that show clearly what you are doing well, what you could improve and to give you a clear direction on how you could improve.
